Almond Butter and Banana Smoothie
Almond Butter and a Banana is one of my favorite snacks! So, combining them into a smoothie is such a treat! In fact, it tastes more like a milkshake than a smoothie. This is such an easy recipe. Honestly, the hardest part is to remember to freeze the banana. Simply combine your ingredients and blend! Simple as that. Enjoy it! -Ruth-
Almond Butter and Banana Smoothie
1 Frozen Banana
2-3 Tbsp. Almond Butter
1 to 1 1/2 cups Coconut milk
*you can use the can or the box
For an extra bit of flare, try adding 1 Tbsp. Nutella

This looks so Yummy!!!
This looks amazing. I have some almond butter and almond milk that I need to finish, so this might be the perfect way to do it! I tried a coconut milk and banana version of this with cinnamon which was also tasty, but nutella will always win over cinnamon, hands down.
This looks so delicious! We love nutella over here and I think a little cheat is always a good idea :) I have never had almond butter. Do you use it as a replacement to peanut butter?
Jenna, I do use almond butter in place of peanut butter. If you like nuts, you'll love almond butter!!! So yummy!
Uh, I agree...Nutella trumps pretty much everything!
I love nuts! I will have to pick some up next time I am at grocery store.
Ruth, thank you for linking this in to Food on Friday. We have got a super collection of shakes and smoothies together. I hope you have stopped by some of the other links to check them out!
Ps I have just signed up to follow your blog. A follow back to Carole's Chatter would be wonderful – or have you already followed? Cheers
This sounds like dessert! Yummy!
