Summer Plans

We haven't officially made any summer plans, have you? There are so many places in Texas I want to visit. Did you know, Texas is huge? Well, it's big...really big. And there is all kinds of stuff to do here. I really want to head down to the coast and check out the Gulf of Mexico. Maybe Corpus Christi or Padre Island. I also really want to visit Austin, San Antonio, Hill Country, Palo Duro, and Big Bend. I think I might need to come up with a 5 year plan! In the meantime, I'll focus on visiting one of these places after my folks visit in July. What are your summer plans? -Ruth-

My summer plans involve work and... work! Although I hope we'll go on little escapades now and then to breathe a little. :)

The Gulf of Mexico would be lovely!! I hope you get to check at least one of those destinations off of your list!! So far I am taking a trip to Nashville in June and then going to a family reunion in WV in August. I also have a couple of day trips to the beach in the works :)

Oh, I would love to explore Texas. My friend moved down to be a nurse and has never looked back. I'm off work in five weeks and I still haven't nailed down any concrete plans, but I hope to start knocking things off my 30 before 30 list.

Cheers.

It's crazy to think that summer is just around the corner. The Gulf of Mexico would definitely be a fun trip. Not sure what our summer plans are yet. Fingers crossed a beach will be involved though :)
