Custom Canvas DIY

Custom Text Canvas by Isn't that Sew
I thought I would give this technique a try, as I have never attempted it before. This is what I came up with. Not too bad for my first try. I think these could make really cute, simple stocking stuffers, don't you think?

Custom Canvas
Canvas (any size)
Paint (multiple colors)
Peel and Stick Alphabet
Paint sponge

Choose your phrase. Make sure you have enough letters to complete it! Peel and stick alphabet to canvas. Using paint sponge, get creative and paint over top the letters. It works best to use one direction for your stroke. Let canvas dry. Carefully remove stickers to reveal your custom text! -Ruth-

I get them pretty cheap at Hobby Lobby when they are on sale. Always a good deal at Hobby Lobby!!! This could make some cute DIY projects for the kids room, ay?

Thanks! I'd like to try it on a much larger scale...maybe with the serenity prayer? We'll see...
