Life is...||Busy||

life is busy quotes
Life is...Busy and messy, no? Sometimes, I'm not sure how to juggle it all. I work a full-time job, have a wonderful husband and pup to spend time with, have a blog to tend to, working toward opening a jewelry shop, have household chores, and lets not forget that body to take care of. I know. I know. It's almost the story of everyone life (ever). Over the last few years, I have come to realize that, TODAY is the most important day of your life. So, I want to know...how do you handle it all? How to you relax and make time for yourself and love one's while still getting stuff done?  -Ruth-

Creating a to do list or just writing things down keeps me sane. I recently started working part time (after YEARS of being full time), I have a home to take care of, a little one who is 16 months, drives me nuts at times but i love him to death lol and am the wife of a worship leader/pastor. we can all get stressed out b/c we always believe there's never enough time in the day. Trust me. there is! :)

one day at a time! :)
this verse always encourages me.
Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

This is something that I struggle with daily. I don't have a husband or a house of my own yet but I know how it feels to be completely overwhelmed by life and its stresses. I think one of the most important things is prayer. Whenever I am feeling stressed I try to spend time in the Word and I always feel a sense of calm. I also think it's important to take time out of your day, even if it's just a few minutes, to do something for yourself. I like to read or listen to music or treat myself to a Starbucks. Sometimes the simplest things can make a big difference.

oh lady! i have no idea either! I try to make lots of lists :) and just take things one step at a time. it is okay if laundry waits until the weekend or if i set my blog aside to watch a show with my husband. when i make lists, i find that i spend my time wiser & i am able to rest in the evening. find your rhythm. and YES i agree with Emma Kate, let the Lord help you prioritize!
